The past few months have been tough. Rising food prices, fuel costs, and job losses have put pressure on families across the region. In response, we’ve activated our Emergency Relief Fund to provide immediate support to those who need it most.
What We’ve Done So Far
1. Food & Essential Kits
Over the last 6 weeks, we’ve distributed food packs, hygiene items, and clean water to 1,200 households in 5 high-impact communities.
2. Cash Assistance
Direct cash transfers are helping families cover rent, school fees, and medical needs without having to choose between them.
3. Community Partnerships
We’re working with local leaders, volunteers, and partner organizations to make sure aid reaches the most vulnerable — including women-led households and people living with disabilities.
The Road Ahead
The need is still high. Phase 2 of our response will focus on:
- Job and skills training to restore livelihoods
- Micro-grants for small business owners
- Nutrition support for children under 5
